Wet Track opportunites

Once upon a time I used to avoid wet tracks but now I relish the opportunity. Now one of my favorite plays is to look for Early horses that disappear on the board and even the software under wet conditions.. The track needs to have a profile of providing winners under such conditions. Aqueduct and Philly certainly do.. Todays 5th, at Aqu, Top 3 EPR finish 1-2-3 and trigger boxcar Win, Exacta and Trifecta payouts. Didn't catch it all but enough of it...

My style of play has changed... I am looking for higher priced horses and will accept a lower hit rate. The only way I bet favorites is in a sequential bet in order to survive the leg... As far as the example you present, I would need to have profiled the track but to your point I would certainly bet the 30/1 if the profile showed early horses fair well at the track. One of the best parts of the software/methodolgy is you are somewhat mechanical in that you would think nothing of putting down coin on a 30-1 thumbing your nose at the public. If he runs last so be it because another one will be around shortly and the program is going to get you enough bombs over time. Conventional handicappers do not have this ability... I've had many friends look at me when I tell them who I like and say things as "Yeah but he's 30-1"...
