09-10-08 - Pace and Cap

Well I am off today after working 12 hour days due to Hurricane Gustav. I am at the Kenner OTB and the only thing showing is Belmont because the Fair Grounds lost satellite coverage from the winds of Gustav.
I did okay other than losing the gutters on my house.

Glad you and your family are o.k.. I lived on the West Bank for a couple of years (almost 30 years ago) and know how things get when the wind blows down there.

I live in Kenner and I am a Deputy for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. The westbank took a hit (Terrytown. Marrero, Westwego and Avondale) wind damage and minor flooding.
