Richie,
My friend, hello! I've been wanting to tell you this for some time now, and choose this opportunity to do so in response to your latest, unselfish contribution: You're a real gentleman, a scholar, an all-around nice guy, as well as very horse smart. You're also "street smart" and don't take any crap from ANYBODY if/when the situation warrants it. And I respect that. Though I only know you via this on-line medium, I feel like we're best friends. Hopefully, one of these days I can have the pleasure of (finally) meeting you and Binder (another very unselfish gentleman) at the Meadowlands race track which is only about a 45 minute ride up the New Jersey Turnpike (from where I live). I only speak the truth and give credit where credit is due, and that I do to you, for sharing your knowledge and experience. As well as your on-going contribution to this group and especially in schooling us in The HAT's Match Up Methodology, something which this thick head of mine has yet to fully grasp! You could have very easily kept silent about it and smiled all the way to the bank. For all that, I thank you very much! Ditto for all the other members of this group! Best regards, Jon ![]() p.s. Having said that, duz that make me a bona fide member of the "ATTA-boy" club? If so, so be it! Glad to be a member!!

Hi Jon
Don't know what else to say except thank you. I'm not perfect by any stretch and have hurt some folks(my family most of all) in the past but the past is just that. The past. Listen I did NOT know you are 45 minutes from the Big M. I have not been there in a year having switched to home betting exclusively. I also have not seen Bill in a long ass time and that needs fixing Jon. Is there ANY chance of you getting to the Meadowlands on Breeders Cup day? I would LOVE to meet up with you and will go out of my way to make sure I can make it (family stuff needs attending before I leave for the day). I know Bill also hasn't been there in a while and maybe the 3 of us could hook up for the day! He is the NICEST man you want to know Jon. Let me know and if that day is out we WILL make another day and meet up SOON. Richie

Richie,
Hello! Sorry I am so late getting back to you. Tonight (Saturday) is the first time I'm online in the past couple of days. "Don't know what else to say except thank you. I'm not perfect by any stretch and have hurt some folks(my family most of all) in the past but the past is just that. The past." You're quite welcome. We all have our faults. What matters is that we try to do what is correct. One's family (and the Big Guy upstairs) overlooks our transgressions of the past as long as we have cleaned up our act and try earnestly to do what is right today and henceforth. "Is there ANY chance of you getting to the Meadowlands on Breeders Cup day? I would LOVE to meet up with you and will go out of my way to make sure I can make it " Yes, that would be great! I know I will have a very good time, as well as learn from two top-notch players...er, I mean, parimutuel fund investors! I presume Breeder's Cup day is the last Saturday in this month? It's been a while since I've been to a racetrack/simulcasting facility. I can't say I miss all the smoke, noise and "rowdy bunch"-types that go there --especially when there's a 'main' event race like Breeders Cup. Oh well, we'll stick to ourslelves, ignore 'em, and have a great time!Send me a PM and we'll discuss the details (provided Bill can make it). Best regards, Jon p.s. Anyone else care to join us?
