Yikes, I'll take a look at that - would be great if we can duplicate that more often!

Did any one notice that one winner at DMR last weekend (Wild Rose in the 7th on Sunday) was a NP contender off a speed rating from a race in Europe?
Neither of the two stateside races put him in top 5 TE or top four VDC. Bill |

Anyway, yes that is one of the advantages at the moment to using the TrackMaster ratings - you get them for pretty much all races. I'll get the Adj SR to compute likewise, given a finish position, beaten lengths and a final time. Ted

Correction and clarification
I posted original screen shots using the current version of the New Pace in RDSS 2. When I originally handicapped the race I was using an April version, the screen shot for which is shown here. Note how NEWPACE uses the European speed ratings. The current RDSS2 version uses adjusted speed ratings AND the horse does qualify as one of the Early NP horses.
Interesting either way, but it looked to me like foreign form SRs were higher than California raw SRs Bill Last edited by Bill Lyster; 08-10-2011 at 02:12 PM. Reason: qualifies as early NP |
