Hi,
I did the update rollback according to the ChatGPT instructions and the problem went away.

That is an OOPs. It worked fine with old races but when I downloaded a track the same old issues came up. I will try other solutions.

Folks - just an update to my last comments above - I am aware that a general upgrade to my software development tools is a good candidate to resolve these issues (better than mucking with Windows roll-backs, or fiddling with various RDSS settings). Make RDSS optimally compatible with Windows 11 going forward.

I am committed to getting that programming tools update done at the earliest possible moment, then let's see if that solves everyone's issues.

First though, the next RDSS update to address the new TrackMaster Store.

Thanks!

Ted

I also noticed a slow down earlier today working the Del Mar card (8-31-25). I have Windows 10 though, but it's still getting updates for another month.

Anyway, not sure it's due to an update for me. The slow down started happening after race 7, and that's when RDSS could not get the results. I was able to get results for races 1-6, but from 7 thru the rest of the card, could not get results, and it was in the those races where the slow down was occurring.

Swifty - we'd have to try to separate out 'slow-downs' that could be related to slow response from the TrackMaster Summary Result page versus the typical screen-related slowness which is characterized by screens not redrawing very fast, or flickering, or the next Tab not responding for a long time, etc.

If you did NOT notice anything like that, and not during the back-half of that card - then I think that is a different responsiveness issue. In other words - aside from waiting for Results yesterday - and today - is RDSS running pretty snappy?

For instance, when updating Charts/results last night - I also noticed that each track from yesterday was taking a lot of time downloading, when it should instead take just a second or so per full day of race Summary Results Maybe that's what you noticed as well.

Here is an article about how to deal with Windows 11 slow-down:

https://www.howtogeek.com/your-pc-fe...-are-to-blame/

It mentions 2 issues -

1. Background synching to the Microsoft OneDrive Cloud (could affect general program performance over slower internet). Try turning this OFF.

2. MORE IMPORTANT, IMO - Turn Down or Disable Visual Effects (scroll half-way down the article looking for that headline). Since people who have experienced this - and on certain computers and not others - mention 'visual sluggishness', this caught my attention.

Since I do not experience this on ANY of my 3 computers (various MS Surface Pro tablets) - I cannot test this effectively. If anyone who DOES experience this slow-down can test this suggested modification to Windows 11 visual settings and let us know if it helps - that would be useful, thanks!

These suggestions might be an interim solution for those who need it (or maybe not.)

2 RDSS updates are coming immanently -

1. RDSS connects again to the NEW TrackMaster Store. You resume using your OWN TrackMaster account (and they resume charging you for RDSS data). This is in final testing. Next few weeks.

2. Migration of entire RDSS to the latest version of my development tool - PowerBuilder, which formally supports Windows 11. It has been suggested that this migration may address Win 11 visual slowness issues. Following delivery and any bug responses to #1 above, but likely by the end of November.

Looking forward to hearing feedback from the suggestions above!

Ted

We connected by email - and solved the problem. In Data Centre, UNCHECK Don't Duplicate, then redownload, reconvert did the trick.

Unsure your RDSS version, but sounds like the old overnight/previous day's incorrect TS Ratings issue, solved last year, i thought.

Good luck today!
