Delaware Park opening day today 05/17/2014
I am excited to head out to my local track today for opening day.
Just wondering if people had thoughts on Delaware Park, how it runs, etc. If things work out I would like to follow DE closely this year, try my first models, watch some morning workouts when possible, and have fun. Happy Preakness Day!! |

Have fun
Have fun at Delaware Park
Del.seems like a nice track. I have been there many times. The only bad thing for me is when Delaware is open some of my Parx horses ship back to there. But with Monmouth also opening its just a slow time for Parx for awhile. Its always more fun to win at a "home track" |

Arabians
The last two races of the day at Delaware in past meets have been Arabian races.
I am a matchup guy. I have matched the Arabian races looking predominantly at how these horses run against a probable first fraction. I have had some success with this and the prices can be very good. Arabians run very much like T-breds but the times are slower I think the prices are good because there are no speed or pace ratings in the form for Arabians. After a few weeks of the meet, I will put up an arabian race and see if I can pick a winner. Tim
