DMR July 17 Race 9 (Oceanside Stakes - Part 2 !?)
Here is Race 9 at Del Mar opening day - also the Oceanside Stakes (this must be the 2nd part of the 2-race Oceanside Stakes begun in Race 6 ?? - same conditions, distance, surface - different horses
)(See Bill V's post here for Race 6 - the other Oceanside Stakes ...). Segwin and I worked this race in a live tutorial this morning, but did not make it to the end before we had to stop. So here are my Contenders: Either of #7 Joelito's last 2 lines put him on top with excellent Total Energy and LPR ratings both ways. #8 Olympic at 20-1 ML is a minor bet across the board then forget it - losing form? or can it reverse last race Tandem with #9 #9 Rosengold - 5 in a row ...? #4 Den's Legacy can compete just fine at this class level on Turf. Pending bet-time odds, my wagers might be: 7-9 Win 8 WPS Exacta Box or Dutch 4-7-9 Segwin, hope you get to complete this one later! cheers, Ted
