Nyra

To digress a bit from handicapping....I recently read that NYRA is bankrupt
and they plan to close down Belmont after the meet. A few years ago they
surrendered the ownership of their 3 tracks (Belmont, Saratoga and Aqueduct)
to the state which worsened their financial situation. New York State is in a
huge financial meltdown and now racing is being impacted.
Since New York State is having big troubles managing their financial house
how could you then expect the inexperienced politicians to manage racing ?

I hope that Saratoga will not be impacted but the way events are unfolding
you never know.
