Good Day @ New York
I had another good day at Aqu 30 March, I didn't lose.
Using wagercapping by hiding the low priced favorites relative to BL/BL odds for win betting. Bets to be placed were determined at 5 minutes to post (it takes that long to get two bets down with youbet). Race #1 bet 1 & 5 # 5 wins $7.60 Race #2 bet 2 & 5 = loss But wait, doesn't the Doc say to back up your hi-odds horses. Bet#2 to place. Pays $6.50 x 2 = $13.00 Race #3 Pass Too many FTS. Race #4 bet 6 & 7 lose Race #5 bet 2 & 5 #5 wins $14.80 Race #6 Pass Too many FTS. Race #7 bet 2 & 7 lose Race #8 bet 4 & 7 #7 wins $6.80 Race #9 bet 2 & 5 lose win bets. Lone exacta bet today 7/2,5 pays $6.90 7 win bets @ $5 = $35.00 Only three wins on my low odds horses $28.60 x 1.5 = $42.90 1 place @ $4 $6.50 x 2 = $13.00 1 exacta @ $2 $6.90 $42.90 + $13.00 + $6.90 = $62.80 Total return = $62.80 Total invested $41.00 It's a lot of work. Bill,
I have been doing it this way for about a week now and it taint easy betting against the #1 horse. I spent too many years with the top two and just struggling to survive. ROI is up considerably. This feels a lot better. Froggy Last edited by froggy; 03-30-2007 at 06:04 PM. |

Thought the 7 in the 8th race was the bet of the day. Biggest wager went there.

Three contenders: 1) one line wonder 4) too far back 7) continued improvement last three lines and closer to the 2nd call.
