Contest for Doc

Stuff we talk about over the years, Rich and I
Is the feeling that we probably are doing better than WE think we are
Since we make mistakes and sometimes want to (improve things)
we fall back a little, Then the doubt starts. Am I any good or am I just
not going to lose to much? When I saw myself near the top at PA
and when Rich sees himself on top at Del Mar
We both got the same feeling .Thanks Doc,Just by doing things his way we are doing very well.
Its a great feeling when you consider your going against the very best
and the Del Mar contet is "THE" contest today
To be on top is the absolute best tribute to Doc Sartin I can imagine
I saw this coming for years Rich

Great Job Rich

Well my top spot lasted all of one day! lol

This is a LONG contest.

I was thinking maybe my energy distribution was too early.

I will continue to fight.

Richie - don't think you're too early ... think more like Afleet Alex in the Preakness...

Think of it as the classic two run or Z pattern horse. Out of the gate strong then dropping off the pace a hair to conserve energy for that 'serious' charge later in the race.

Congrats Richie!!
