DanBoles
I'm been unable to access some old DanBoles threads/posts about energy.
None of his 300+ posts are coming up, even in advanced search. Any advice here? I must be doing something wrong. Thanks. Jake |

Jake - you mention 'DanBoles' but Dan's User Name (and name) is 'DanBoals'. I checked all posts by Dan, and the earliest one was dated 7/16/2015. http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10203 The total was 342 posts.
I think this will help you find his old posts you're looking for? Ted

appreciated. Also, you never got back to me on the two PDF files I sent your way; no problem. If you're interested in discussion down the road, just let me know. Jake |

![]() ). I cut my teeth on Expert Systems in the late 80s and 90s so I understand a bit about that. When things stabilize here a bit with the mass migration to the new RDSS, yes, let's get together!Cheers, Ted

I just downloaded the new version and signed up for the 20 race pack with Trackmaster, so hopefully I will play a race here and there. My friend Jeff (shoelessjoe) keeps me in the game. Every time I think I am going to take a break and clean out my storage unit or get my health straightened out, he has an interesting race for me to look at. Until I got really sick, we were playing Delaware together and that was great fun. There is a reddit called /r/horseracing which has a discord with chat rooms, maybe we can all get on there some time and see if the old programs and old concepts still hold up. |

btw
nothing Jeff and I talk about is my ideas everything I use came from the methodology I take the old program variables, which Ted still supports, and I use them the way Jimmy talked about in the Matchup. wish I could say any part of it was mine, but that would be a lie. Ted has done an amazing job keeping the software running over the years and I think the variables in RDSS that I use are maybe the best version of them ever. This website has all the old manuals and follow ups. I went thru and read all of them a couple years ago and discovered the thing we were lacking was the PoR/PoH Chaos Fractional Vectors and the chart. The chart never really made sense to me, but the numbers seemed very valuable. In true Ted fashion, he added them to the program. Both Howard and Jimmy said that chart and those numbers were what made them great handicappers. They mentioned this a couple times in various manuals and multiple times in the followups. I was never any good with the Matchup until I used the pace vectors to help me understand the race. That sounds really silly, but different people learn things in different ways. For me, that is the way I came to finally understand how to compare horses within the context of the upcoming race I am handicapping. If you have any questions, I am glad to help however I can. Dan |

I know Jeff quite well, and appreciate his long friendship greatly. Feel free to ask him about me if you wish, I'm quite comfortable with that. He has transformed himself into quite a good handicapper this last year, although he doesn't ever boast about it online. Very goodhearted always. Jake |
