Windows 11 Rdss install

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 11. Installed Rdss and it is running a lot slower than on my previous Windows 10 machine. When clicking on a horse to look at lines the program loads slower than when on Windows 10. Any suggestions to speed things up?

Usually RDSS runs even faster in Windows 11.

Once (years ago, not Win11), I recall someone had an anti-virus/malware program which watched RDSS' disk access and slowed it down to a crawl. We changed settings or disabled that anti-virus/malware and it worked fine again.

Check you have lots of disk space and memory -- for new computers, this should not be an issue, but minimum of 4Gb memory and even 10+ spare Gb of disk storage (for Windows to use for swapping memory).

If you have an anti-virus or malware checker, temporarily switch it off to see if that helps. If so, you have to dig into the settings to see what affects disk access.
