Todays' recap. 8 races capped with RDSS only

Had a very big day capped off by a winning Richie LSP. Folks I hope that those who are struggling are seeing how it is very possible to start winning if you start using RDSS. Everyone should be able to achieve the same type of results if they will simply keep some records and use a consistent contender & paceline selection process. Tim

It doesn't hurt to use RDSS.
Good job hitting that late double Tim.

Thanks MJ. To me RDSS is the best and easiest Sartin program I have ever used in my 34 yrs with the group. I truly believe that everyone can win using it once they establish a consistent contender paceline process and maintain some records such as what type of bets they win most and those they are weak in[avoiding them until they improve their win%]

You are giving 4 horses in every race. Obviously you must be boxing your bets. I would like to see how someone would box 4 horses in each race for a profit. |

Hi Scott. First I don't bet every race nor does anyone I know. Secondly I rarely box 4 horses. Third go to the races of interest section and you will see my actual winning tickets as wagered at Twin Spires. Hopefully that answer your questions.

A few years back I was very busy with no time to handicap. I received an E-mail from RPM Handicapping Giant from California.
They were offering selections from Del Mar. Let them do the handicapping and you just bet. I took the service and received an E-mail every racing day with 4 horses in each race. I could not make money. Since then I’ve been curious to see how someone can bet from that type of set up. Not saying you don’t make money but how. Friday at Monmouth I hit the first 2 races. I only had win because I don’t play exotics or DD. I made a nice score but those kind of prices are not every day. |

Observations of your post 8 -10
Hi Scott just wanted to send along my thoughts on your post and reply from the last couple of days.
First of all I'm glad you expanded on your experiences and your betting strategy. Successful handicapping is a process that takes a lot of time and effort to achieve the level of expertise that Tim Gagas ( Lt1 ) has attained. As he said in reply to you he rarely plays every race on the card let alone bet on them all. He makes profitable bets when the horses and the betting action shows that his wagering decisions will have positive outcomes. Unfortunately it would take way to long to expound on all of the ideals of this work that I have learned from Tim but if you want to have a successful experience from handicapping you need to be able to spend the time to keep records on vital aspects such as % medians of winners at all the distances of the races you play and many other recordable data you can track with RDSS so you have a better understanding of horses need to win the race you are playing. I hope this post helps you understand that Tim is an excellent handicapper and that his selections and Races of Interest posts will give you a big leg up to making profitable wagering decisions. I sincerely wish you all the best in this incredibly tough game. Darryl |

Hi Scott. Since you are a win bettor only I would suggest that you wagercap as Doc explains in the follow up. Basically you would bet the horse in the top3 that meets your min odds you are willing to accept ie 5/2 or 2-1 etc. Your 2nd bet would be the horse with the higher odds of the remaining 2. Or you can use to 60-40 method of betting.
Tim
