Fantastic hit on this one Lt1. Once again the #8 is overlooked coming off a 270 day layoff and coming out a Finger Lakes paceline. You have bagged many a good paying winner coming out of there.
Just further proof of what a great angle the RMath LS pick can be.

Thanks Darryl. It is just a matter pf paying attention to details that get these types of winners.

Good morning Tim, Hope all is well with you and your family.

With Ritchies 4 factor method he limited the races to non maidens and no turf as well as distances. Have you expanded to races at 5f, 6.6f 7.5f , 1 1/8 and even 1 1/4 mile races on the dirt, turf and all weather? If so, I was curious to know if you have a survey with the expanded guidelines? Do you look at maiden races with a maximum of two first time starters?

It is becoming tougher and tougher to get plays with 8 runners or more unless you include turf and all weather in addition to the added distances.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Gene. Richie & I talked daily. He would in fact play some turf and mdn races. We both avoided most mdn races with more than 1 fts especially if the firster was in the top 5 of Profit or Prime Power. As for turf races we capped them and if there were too many questions about ability to handle the turf we pass most. Please remember we had many yrs of experience and therefore some times we would take shots that we would not recommend to newer cappers or those struggling to become winners.
