Friday nights 9th Race at MNR would be my choice for this week.
It has a descent field of horses (9) and is at a mile and 70 yards. Please see the Entries below. Good luck to all.

Here's my interpretation of how I think the race will go.
My first choice would be # 9 "Dual Diagnosis" and I will bet her to win. It seems to be the best choice from my match-up analysis. which I have posted below. If I had to pick a second horse it would probably be # 5 "Tall Wakin Cat", but I can say without hesitation that I am not a proponent of 2 horse win betting. My Exactas for this race if I played them and I don't would be as follows: 9 with 5, 6, 8 and 5 with 6, 8, 9. Last edited by partsnut; 10-27-2006 at 03:34 PM. |

CORRECTION:
I noticed a mistake in my Match-Up spread sheet and did not have time to post a corrected one this morning. So please disregard the one I have posted and I will re-post the the corrected spread sheet this evening along with a track profile for over 600 races of this type going back to January 2002. I am sorry if I've misled anyone. |

I've attached the track profile for the race in question.
It covers over 600 races from January 2002 of races of this type. distance and surface. I've also corrected my Match-Up spreadsheet and have also attached it. My selections remain the same. Last edited by partsnut; 10-27-2006 at 03:34 PM. |

Intersting race.
I don't see any horse take the lead in this race except #5. The only question is: can #5 make 4 win in a row? Is a fresh horse with no recent workout. If #1 or #2 can take the lead in a fast 1st. and 2nd. calls and force #5 to press, I think #5 will use too much energy to finish the race. If this the case #6 will win the race, followed by #8 #9. I will look for value. Pino |

To me it looks like the 5 takes this one. The only way he doesn't is if the first and second fraction goes 23 and 47. That might throw him off a bit but I don't think the fractions go that fast here. the 5 should set the pace.
