Not that it matters for many who avoided the horse, but the 6, Bug Juice, is a scratch.

If #9 Pretty Boy Freud runs anywhere near his last race he destroys this field. However, he's a 5YO off a top. Those types aren't supposed to repeat. On the other hand he's a 5YO gelding. Mark Cramer wrote in one of his books that a flat bet on 5YO geldings produces a profit. Seeing as he's run the best race of the year in his last effort and he's 5/2 I'd be inclined to look elsewhere.

#3 Dr Disco is my second choice and he's value at 8-1.

#8 Preachintothedevil is the other horse I consider a serious contender. He's listed at 10-1.

I'll probably bet #3 and #8 to win and use Pretty Boy in the exotics. Maybe a few small trifectas with Pretty Boy on top as he can bounce and still win.

Kudos to all who found Pretty Boy Freud to be a false favourite.

I regret not betting this, though I was only working off of the PPs presented in the thread.
