Double Dominant race at AP today

Ted, I believe race 10 is a perfect example of a Dble-Dom race.
#1 has 34% and 3 speed points
#2 has 32% and 2 speed points
#8 is the third horse with 5 speed points
the 6 has 6 points, and the7 has 5points.
So if I under stood Dave right there are only 3 playable horses. the 6-7-8

I need to review the workshop again (was getting alittle late for me that night), but I think you work the speed points when its a dbl-d pressure race. When it's double dom and they have comparable spd points.

With just the "standard" dbl dom they are just both automatically included in your wagers if they can match POR.

Not sure until I watch it again tho'.

DD race

Chris, I understood Dave to say that you ignore speed and look first at the third horse (the swing horse) the 8 and if he has 5 or morespeed points and also has at least one of the dominate horses beaten on speed points the you only include any other contenders that have at least 5 Quirin speed points. In this race only the 8, 7, & 6 have the required number of speed points.
I may have misunderstood him but that is what I have written in my notes.

Chris, the 5 ran second at 3/5, he was one of the original new pace horses. so was the 8, but the 6 & 7 were not. They got in under the new guidelines for Double Dominate races.

You are correct on this, I must have been half asleep.
