I actually don't mind losing so much when it's by such a narrow margin. Most will say a loss is a loss, but I consider that my assessment was accurate.

In the fourth, I like the 6, but something about the 2 bothers me. I know it hasn't been out in a year-and-a-half, but at this level and this time of year, the competition isn't exactly distinguished.

When it was game, the horse liked this track.

I agree with the #2....field is horrible...favorite will have company up front plus he doesnt like to win...also one of the 2 race not show in his PP was a win...so he comes back off layoffs in good shape

The make up (hopeless v worse) of this race may help Hedge Fund, but i wouldn't put money on it tbh as it's weak late

Clore's choice #6 has claims and should be in a good position to take advantage of a weakening Hedge Fund, but the one i like look of is #8 Hawkinville

Hey Charlie - the 6 in this route was #1 DCL horse. That makes 11 of the last 14 routes having gone to the number one or two in that ranking.

Too much for me to type, so I just use the RDSS column heading.

I have family coming in from Lancaster (Pennsylvania, but they pronounce it the same as over in your neck of the woods). This may be my last post of the day.

I'll go with the 1 and 7 in the fifth

If #7 can get uncontested lead i think it has a hig probability of wiring, but if took on the #6 can take advantage, the #1 may come too late

I'll go #7 and #6

Studart got schooled by Maragh going into the turn and that's what won it for the 7.

She's sitting comfortably insidish on the backstretch then when she tries to make a move, the 4 goes with her and pushes her into the 3 path on the turn. That extra distance covered and the fact that she just can't finish with the men, cost the 2 the win.

If she stays inside she wins.
