First non-maiden race on Turfway's card this afternoon. RAW data with lines selected by software.
screen shot #1 shows original pace lines with running styles marked over on right. Visual there are 2 earlies Screen shot #2 shows RAW velocity screen. Look who is on top with virtually identical 1c and 2c velocities. Our 2 POSITIONAL earlies. So in THIS race both positional and velocity reads are AGREEING and pointing to the distinct possibility of a fight among the earlies that neither will survive and win man. Distinct possibility of an "other than early" outcome for the winner? Screen shot #3 shows our RAW early/late reads for the horses. Now follow me please. IF we are looking "ote" confidently for the WIN there are 2 "ote" guys right on top correct? a) looking at the RAW Epr who is closer to the pace 3 or 4? b) looking at the overall RAW total number who is the FASTER horse 3 or 4? Screen shot #4 shows result chart ok? Look HOW the race ran. What 2 horses went to the lead and fought only to die later on? What style did WIN the race? WHO was the superior "ote" horse looking at our "aids" or matching "tools"? sonofabit** this is cool man. Possibilities of a spot play where matching positional and velocity reads lead to a more confident wager maybe?? Yea I know "big deal Rich the horse paid 2/1". I'll stop here. Dream big and then make it happen as my mentor says ![]() Ciao

Here is the next non maiden affair at Turfway.
I removed 1 horse because his last 2 races was beaten more than 23 lengths against paces slower than his power line selection. 2 seconds and a capper sees this immediately. For clarity keep him and he is on top. Notice the very different makeup of the race matchup both positionally and velocity wise. I want spot plays. Same 4 screen shots as above to be consistent. ok

Rich, I just noticed on your Velocity output a choice for POR or POH. Nice. Will this allow me to switch back and forth without having to necessarily re-compute or go out and back in? Ted is really on fire with some of these seemingly very helpful handicapping/analysis tools.

Sorry to dampen the fire a bit
- that POR vs POH Velocity screen is not part of the next update (still in the works...).Ted

It might be 2 separate screens, or one combined screen showing both POH and POR, with differential, Running Style, QSP, graphed. Most likely not as is.
Thanks Robert, should be fun! Ted

If you are referring to the 2 Turfway races from today I'd say that race 3 is a personal call based on individual user interpretation while the place horse in race 5 is more obvious counter horse to the winner's energy distribution. Hope this makes some sense. Do they look like the counter guys to you? Interesting in that to be honest I wasn't thinking or looking at this aspect as I was so tied up with the winner's stuff Condor. Your feedback most appreciated Richie
