Jeff[, no offense intended. I am no wise ass like some . But I have punched out a few. with great pleasure.

But you will find this to be true. Do 10 races you lost. If you still do not see how the race is run, do 10 more. Now promise me you will do that and then tell me the results. Promise!!!

Then do ten you won! What do you see in the E/L??? Got to use all the tools, Jeff. Don't change how you were eliminating contenders, just add this wonderful tool. and again this is why we win when we limit our track plays and lose when we scramble to be horseplayers doing more than two tracks.

It doe not hurt to miss a few days of betting.Especially if the light goes on and you start using all the tools. It only takes a few good wins to get the bankroll back up.

And again, I urge you to check out issue 77 of the Follow Up. You will thank me and the wonderfu guys who made it available.

I'm here for you anytime good friend. Happy Cappin. And thanks to all the good guys who make this site a pleasure to be a part of.

Thanks for the reply. If people did less fighting and tried harder to get along with each other maybe this country of ours wouldnt be as f***ed up as it is.

Hello Jeff
The graph does not tell me how the race will be run early or late
The running style and position patterns and the projected pace does that
I use the Early late graph to show myself how much energy each of my five contenders -after hides - has. and how much of its total energy it uses early

the HAt check area is teaching me about early and other than early

But before the hat check I used the sticks on the early late graph
and I used my fingers as a map to the race
Really

the bigggest stick early was the thumb
the second biggest was the index finger
the stick that was the most even was the middle finger
the next latest was the ring finger
the most late horse was the pinky

I would look at the total energy and say
the thumb is too early - his stick was too big and so was the index finger
and they were 4th and 5th ranked T.E
the middle finger and the ring finger were visually early
but the sticks were not too big and had better total energy
the Pinky was too much on the late side to win at the distance
by my record keeping -unless there all the other fingers were too big
the pinky was usally the conter energy and used in exactas
or mostly bet wps

The fingers method changed to the tic pad
because I also used the early late graph wit FX and the VDC readout
It was easy to review patterns , Like bob p says after the fact
when I filled out the tick pad

Bill,Thanks for the explanation. The hat check area is not for me ,doing the match up using computer screens is not my cup of tea. When I use the racing form I get a much clearer picture of the horses.Jeff

Yes Jeff I understand that

I mean that before I had the chance to learn from the Richie and Jim
in the hat check area, I never thought about how the race would run early or late

So I just used the Early Late graph to picture the race
by energy usage
