Got an email from a friend asking about the way LeRoi used Aodds. I got the answer from Jim and he told me it was cool to post the reply here.

LeRoi and Aodds:

1) Never changed anything the program gave her. NEVER

2) Did not win bet. Strictly an exacta and trifecta player.

3) There are 4-5 screens of ranked horses on the software. LeRoi focused on the top 3 on each screen as contenders.

She would wait for a race where one horse was ranked 1st or 2nd on every screen.For exactas LeRoi would key that horse on top of 2 other contenders highly ranked on all screens. Then would take a 2 horse exacta box of that key horse and the horse she felt was next best.

Trifectas she would box 3 horses. The key horse,2nd best horse and a third one.

How does LeRoi line up the screens. There are a number of ways to look at each screen about the only uniform one on each screen is Line Score-LS. Does she use that or does she use something else?
