One More Key Horse Survey
Decided to run another 100 race key horse survey. The trks involved were Parx,TDN,Del,&LRL. Here are the results
Races 100 Wins 39 Place 21 Show 21 Out 19 So folks after doing a total of 500 races[see prior survey post we have this result RACES 500 Wins 152 304% Place 111 22.2% Shows 83 16.6% Outs 154 30.8 As you can clearly see the key horse completed the ex 263 times or 52.6% of the time and the tri 346 times or 69.2% of the time. Ignoring these horses is costly to your bankroll Tim

Hi Tim,
I've been going back through your RMATH Key Horse posts and surveys and trying to get a better understanding of Richie's angle and how you use it. One thing I'm not clear on from the surveys: when you report the 500-race results, are you tracking one designated Key Horse per race, or can multiple qualifying Key Horses from the same race be included in the sample? Also, when a race has two Key Horses, do you use your other RDSS readouts and track model to separate them for win betting or multi-race wagers, or do you generally consider both equally? Thanks again for all the research you've shared. I'm spending some serious time going back through these threads and learning a lot from them. Jimmy

Hi Jimmy. I counted every LSP that was in the race Remember these horses are NON=Contenders so usually they don't have much going for them but when there are 2 or more in a race yes I do cap them like any other horse in the race.
Tim
