Observations of your post 8 -10
Hi Scott just wanted to send along my thoughts on your post and reply from the last couple of days.
First of all I'm glad you expanded on your experiences and your betting strategy. Successful handicapping is a process that takes a lot of time and effort to achieve the level of expertise that Tim Gagas ( Lt1 ) has attained. As he said in reply to you he rarely plays every race on the card let alone bet on them all. He makes profitable bets when the horses and the betting action shows that his wagering decisions will have positive outcomes. Unfortunately it would take way to long to expound on all of the ideals of this work that I have learned from Tim but if you want to have a successful experience from handicapping you need to be able to spend the time to keep records on vital aspects such as % medians of winners at all the distances of the races you play and many other recordable data you can track with RDSS so you have a better understanding of horses need to win the race you are playing. I hope this post helps you understand that Tim is an excellent handicapper and that his selections and Races of Interest posts will give you a big leg up to making profitable wagering decisions. I sincerely wish you all the best in this incredibly tough game. Darryl |
