Big Exacta Hit R7 TDN 5-23
After getting whacked in races 5 & 6 I caught this one strictly on a hunch. My picks
Tdn 5-23 Trk fast r1 7-1-4-2 r2 2-6-1-4 ls3 r3 5-1-2-3 r4 6-1-2-3 r5 6-2-5-3 r6 2-10-4=6 r7 7-2-3-1 ls5 r8 6-5-2-3 ls1 good luck tim Winning ticket May 23 3:45:25 PM Complete Thistledown 7 Exacta $1.00 1,4/1-7 $12.00 $309.40 $297.40 Winning Combo 4{$43.90} 6{!7,00] Screen Shots The winner tiered #7 on both screens & the place horse tiered #4 BL/BL & #5 RX. The winner rank #1 LPR HID & and was the only horse on the late side making it the counter energy horse. It also was a ntl type who could get the lead[it fought with the 2 & got lead right at the 1st call] so I took a shot Tim

Tim has taught himself how to become a WINNER, This is what the Sartin Methodology is
all about. When becoming a winner, there are times when pure instinct takes on, and you have the confidence to make profitable decisions. Great job LT1 BobC. |

Thanks for the kind words Bob. I had [needed] plenty of help from Doc, Hat, Glenn C,& Bert M as well as working with my good friends Mitch & the late Richie Mathie and of course your little APV nugget added another weapon. The light bulb didn't go off for almost 8 yrs[right after I retired and could cap full time]. I have found that for me record keeping was the key along with proper contender and paceline selections. RDSS does an outstanding job of paceline selections and I and several others have shared our contender selection methods. Folks are free to use their own approaches but if you don't keep some kind of records to help id both your strong and weak areas IMO it will be like shoveling crap against the tide. Everyone is capable of going from non winner status to winner if they will do the work. This site has many threads and the library to help those who wish to make the transition

God Jeff. Like I said this race was not won by conventional capping. I just happen to observe some things that peaked my interest. Folks should get in the habit of taking a look at non-contenders to see if there are any Richie LSPS and if any are NTL types which may impact NTL contenders.
