Whitney:
With the 8 scratched, the 4 is the early horse who is capable of going very fast. Then, the 3,5, and 7 come in a presser role. In a race like this where there is a lead horse capable of carrying his speed to the stretch call, my choice is a sustained horse. The sustained horses are the 1, 2, and 6. The 6 is too slow. The 2 is more of a sustained presser who was beaten by the 1 in the met mile (besides, I never forgave the 2 for beating Calif Chrome in the Belmont Stakes!). The 1 is my choice to win the race. I like Pressers who don't have to get caught in the front end of it. #3 and #2 fit that bill nicely (sorry Moreno ).
My picks: #3 Noble Bird (at a nice price), and #2 Tonalist. Good luck! Ted

He must be doing more than that? Can't be that simple? Keeps putting them up though. Congrats on the nice price gentlemen. Pook |

That ball-frosting loss puts the icing on the cake for a forgettable week for me. I am not even going to think about horse racing until Monday...at which time I will post the Challenge results.
