Big thanks to Ray
Hi to the few people who view here
I just wanted to tell you that for various reasons Ray will no longer be posting races here. It could mean the end to this topic which I am sure may make some people happy. I just wanted to give a big thanks to Ray who posted races here to show us you still could win races with the older programs Before I go any further NO ONE here is saying that they are better than RDSS which a more updated program to use Also Ray would in detail show us how he came upon to get those winners and would always answer any questions we had. He will be sorely missed Thanks as well to Ted for providing this area to us dinosaurs Jeff Last edited by shoeless; 07-25-2023 at 12:51 PM. |

Big thank you to Jeff,Michael,teb21,Henrio and a few guys that sent me a pm...
I just want to show that those who want to keep using older programs can still win.We live in America,so we got a choice...the land of the free...free to choose what program you want to use... I'll be posting for the last time... Today,7/27 at TDN race 2 SOC8000 Win Contenders - Line Used 2 Years Ago -2 4 Courtly -1 5 Lilac -2 6 Divine -2 7 Gran M -1 I'll be using Quad-Rater and Selector...both showing the winner ,with the funny name that pertains to Sartin old programs...#2 Years Ago...it was 24 to 1 at 2 min to post time...#2 Years Ago stayed close to #7 Gran Mamiebella and started to assert himself midway and at the top of the stretch, the #2 Years Ago looked at it's jockey and i am an expert horse lip-reader...it said to him"i really enjoy it when you keep spanking me specially using that left hand"...as it romps all the way to the finish...paying $49 and change... Thanks again,guys... Ray |

Michael( I see your from UK hope to visit there), Teb21, Henrio nice
to see you posting here. Just to let you know I use Synergism , for me easiest to navigate. Also use FTL guidelines for picking pace lines and Richie P Match Up. I would be interested to hear what you use if you would like to do so Jeff |

I am currently playing with a method using Alldata. I have about 88 data points which I rank. After the results are in I manually save W-P-S horses to a separate sheet which is my database for the track. When I open a new I clck on a button to find similar races and copy these races to win, place, show sheets where the number of times that a winning horse finishes 1-2-3,2-3-4, 3-4-5, etc in the rankings. The 4 highest total are applied against the current race. Scores can be between 0-4 with 4 being the most likely to win. I am at a stage now where where I am building a database for each of 3 tracks. I had originally planned on running the top 3-4 horsed through Quad-Rater - I cannot because I lost the floppy disc during a move - so I will probably test MPH or Aoods98 Super Gold to make the final selection.
