Bill;
# 2 Cotton is better at 6F and can run at 6.5 however at 6.5 losses BL and appears to decelerate more at that dis. making 7F today doubtful. #5 Mad prefers 5 to 6 F and not a 7F horse. #7 is a router and a closer and best distance is 1 70/yd. Ran a decent race at 6.5 and 7F can help however her best chance of winning is longer at a mile or more. As a closer may get in the money for a P or S as its a closer. The real problem is she is a 7 year old that is not very sound. An in and outer who never runs two good races back to back, a guessing game for a P or S. I do this type analysis all the time and in fact showed it to Old Arkie Girl 2 or 3 weeks back. Two things I always determine is a horses best distance and surface. To get more winners Members of RDSS should do more analysis and get rid of the instant gratification. They greatly ignore the Energy, Velocity-POH, TPR screens etc., they're like a very tired and high decelerating horse they just want to get to the finish line. Mitch44 |
