Route to Sprint??
Hi Folks,
Back in the 80s, Doc Sartin suggested that when using a route race in a sprint race, one should use the 6f time minus 2 fifths of a second and with half of the lengths behind to generally equalize...if my memory serves me correctly. As a new RDSS user and returning Sartin fan, what is the current thinking or, better yet, the most successful (smile) 'transfiguration' of a route race to a sprint (...if, for example, there are simply not sprint races in the PP to use)? Thanks kindly. Thomas |
