Del Mar 8/05 with New Pace and RDSS2

am showing screenshots of New Pace with results ran through RDSS2. I took the early horses from NP and ran through RDSS2 and took top 2 VDC and then ran the rest through RDSS2 top 2 VDC for the late horses. The screenshots of the RDSS2 is of the 4 that are left. I will not be betting. I am just testing.

Out of a possible 4 horses?
How would you have split them and come up with the winner?
Where does the handicapping come in

This time the 4 horses included the winner.
More times then I'd like to mention it won't.
As well, 4 horse exactas at tracks like DMR are in my opinion,
a losing proposition.

Please don't fault me for my opinion but
truthfully, I'm not impressed.

Bill..it all depends on the track...

to do a study at one track , you can come up with a winning proposition

at DelMar..betting 4 horse win bets seem profitable..but ex's and tri's aren't

somewhere else you can be profitable betting win bets over 7-1

some tracks are profittable with ex's

I have a study at WO doing OK with TRI's...

a little work is necessary .....

I guess you have to be somewhat of a specialist and pick your spots.
The biggest underlying questions that I would have would be the consistency of the method being used and if in fact, it is worthy of ones time and effort.
What works today may not work tomorrow.
A long run analyses of a track broken down by concurrent meets over a 5 year period may prove or disprove the validity of this method.
As far as I am led to believe no one has done this yet and those that can, won't.
I would venture to say and this would only be my guess that the 4 horse exotics would fail as well as the 4 horse win selections.
If in fact I were wrong and the overall picture showed a profit in either category, I would further guess that the resultant profit, if any, would not be worth ones time.
Of course, this is only my opinion and I would not want to discourage or break anyone's bubble.
I guess one has to bite the bullet and find out for themselves.

Maybe this is how you would separate and get the winner. Going back to line 7 on Benny is not out of the question. Last race was a come back race so he probably needed the race. So you can go back to a good race on this race track and get the winner in your top 2.
