2020 LONESOME CUP call for contestants
Stuck in? Feeling isolated?
This too will pass. But in the meantime we are lucky to be a part of the only sport in town. I have been encouraged in the interest of community spirit here at PaceandCap, to fire up the old contest thread. Create a little diversion to help members pass the days. The 2020 Lonesome Cup is looking for contestants. This will be a cheap little contest ($10 USD) played over the next few weeks as long as tracks remain open and hopefully will include tracks that reopen. Probably to the end of May? It will be open to all members here. Sartinistas and Matchers. I'll see how many are interested before committing and setting it up. If you want to be in, add your name to this post. Pook |

Pook, I am interested, but would like to know the ground rules before committing.
Such as a win bets only contest. Number of bets per race. Rmath |

I’m thinking $2 mythical bets to Win and or Place on up to two runners per race. Like in the M4$ series. I would post one or two races on any given day. And you would have to play a minimum number over the time period. There would be a cap on payouts something like $20 Win, $10 Place.

Sign me up!
Some days, I may host a Zoom remote meeting where people can join and share analyses or whatever. Just like we were together at Woodbine, or Saratoga (without the distractions ...) Free beer. Ted
