I made it.. My horse #3 Back Pocket Money placed in race 7
Today was the final day of the Survival at the Shore Contest I reached my ultimate goal I made it till the end. I finshed with $483.20 There were 5807 entrants 679 survived My total winnings total $483.20 was good for 1452 place my bets were the best VDC horse, Ties were broken by 3F + total pace after Aug 1st Bets were the 0.0 VDC horse I had 22 winners, 24 place horses and 13 show It was a grind I am glad I made my goal. but I really am just glad its over. I will never do it again But I do feel very good about finishing as a survivor Bill |

Congratulations Bill, and a job well done!
Do you believe the 0.0 % V/DC horse(s) was any improvement on using the V/DC rank #1? Ted

Good job...I admire your "stick-to-it-iveness" (if there is such an expression).

Please note: I moved a few posts about usage of the VDC factor to its own thread: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7726
That way, it won't divert this thread from Bill V's goals accomplishment, which is what it was originally about. Please see that other thread to continue the (interesting) VDC discussion. cheers, Ted
