PIM May 18 - Preakness & Undercard races

Getting this out of the way early! The Preakness Stakes - I have little clue I would not be surprised to see Itsmyluckyday run better than in the Derby. Every horse will be at good enough odds for bettors to try something because of Orb's EVEN or less odds and the public desire for another Triple Crown winner, regardless of the other horses' merits. Repeat after me: 'we have seen this kind of thing before ...'

I prefer to make some money betting, if I can. If there is something available while allowing that Orb may well win it all today, I will try. Otherwise, I will cheer.

Focusing on the Pimlico undercard races today, and maybe a few from Woodbine.

Good luck to all!

Race #2 Result: 9-7-5-10. Not much money there.

Re Preakness - not only do I respect Doc's guidelines, the Derby race did not even come up for most horses as a good recent line. Still baffling. If the mists clear, I'll report in

Ted
