I became a Sartin fan in the early 90's and it changed the way I play the game. I can vividly recall reading the Match-Up and the Yellow Manual on the NYC subway each morning on my way to work. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
God Bless you Doc', you were one of the true pioneers of modern handicapping theory. |

"I can only imagine the program they will have waiting for us all when we join them!"
I can imagine! One that picks 100% winners! As well, the exact finish order of horses in daily doubles, pick 3's, pick 4's, super high five's, pick 6's, exactas, trifectas, superfectas, and all other exotics! Jon

How Bill looked up to Doc
Doc was the one who pulled my son out of a very serious deep depression. Brooks and I tried so hard but we were unable to help him come out of his depression. He needed a whole new attitude, and it had to come from someone not his family.
Bill went to California and spent a whole day with him. Doc was responsible for giving Bill a whole new slant on life. He showed Bill how to be a winner at life. I am deeply indebted to Doc Sartin and I pray he rests in peace. Bill is in the process of writing a book that was going to have an introduction written by Doc. Now that won't happen, but the book is still going to be written. Mrs. V. |
