no

I just can not sit back and let this go

For me the two of the most important readouts I use are total energy
and VDC As Ted said both use the first fraction
I really think most of us realize that most horses can run
a first fraction of 22 (if they care to)
but the whole methodology is about what happens to horses
BECAUSE of the energy used in the first, second and third fraction

who are we to ask if Huey Mahl would be ashamed ???

Does he see the winners here, who are students of the Match UP? No .
Or how do you know what he would feel about The winners who do VERY well just following directions ?

That was not a nice thing to say
Lets let each person speak and talk about different opinions
but really that was not a respectful comment

Why are you all so upset just because Tim doesnt think the 1st fraction is important? If that's his opinion so be it,he still shows new ways of looking at things using a Sartin program.Jeff

I have no problem with Tim putting more emphasis on 2c+Fr3

The problem lies in the statement made

It is wrong and anyone that has bothered to read any of the Manuals/Follow Up's know's that

But if that's what Tim believes then it should be respected otherwise you will never get any new ideas around here just the same old stuff getting rehashed.

And respect should be given to the Doc's Methodology Jeff, which is Fr1+Fr2+Fr3 and not 2c+Fr3

Charlie,I see where you call yourself a Match Up apprentice.Do you believe in the Fulcrum? If you say yes then you are not truly what you say you are because Hat did not believe in it.If you say no then your following along the same line as Tim on the 1st fraction because Doc believed their was.My point being besides Bill and a few others nobody follows the Methodology 100%.

F1 is also a major ingredient in Percent Median, in fact, it is F1 that improved Percent early.

Perhaps a program could be offered that totally ignores F1 in all calculations.
All you get is second call and third fraction. What would you name such a program? Total Pace - phase II?
