Thanks for your reply. I'll keep my eyes on Monday from now on. Interestingly, the horse that won the 11th race got loose early and was in the middle of the track in the stretch. So, in that respect, he was doing what the 5,6,7 post positions had been doing all day. It wasn't long before the jockeys and trainers had it figured out today.

I never assume that the track is going to run the same from one day to the next. Like you said, maintenance and weather are always factors.

Hi Tim. The last time I saw this kind of a swing at Parx was right after the big snow storm in Feb which forced the track to shut down for 2 weeks. When they returned for the 1st week and a half if you weren't on the lead or very close up you were doomed. After that it went back to normal until today. We shall see tomorrow.
