Thanks Mike, I just wanted to nudge this to the front page again after I posted the Derby Marathon thing in the Discussion Forum.

TUP 2
Projecting a 21 and change/ 44 and change from 6 and 7. Only 5 furlongs. 6 could wire but seems to not win two in a row and has a good/dud pattern going where this should be a dud. The 7 should keep him honest. Comes down to 2,3,5 handling this pace with the 2,5 closest of the OTE. Won't be around for odds so... 2,5 Pook |

Turf Paradise #2
Projecting a speed duel up front. When the speed collapses up front, either #5 or #8 should pick up the pieces at a decent price. #5 Royal Kingdom #8 Monterey Kris

I also think the race will variegate OTE/Late. Hard to see at this class level the #6 coughing up 2 Wins back-to-back (would be a first).
So of the 3 best Late runners/energies 5-3-2, my selections (barring late tote action/info) are: 5 and 3 Good luck all! Ted

TuP2
Tomorrow is closing day at TuP. Good thing. It hit 100 degrees twice this week.
Shortening a speed horse up works sometimes and other times it doesn't because there is frequently more early speed. The 6 needs a 3L lead to win. With the 7, I don't think she'll get it. The 6 is so fast early, they can't even work the horse slowly! There are pressers in the race that I think will have a tough time. These are the 1,2,4, and 8. This leave me with the 3 and 5. The 5 is moving better between the 2nd and 3rd call. I hate betting horses that get this far behind. The 5 is my choice to win the race. Tim |
