I Miss Saratoga!
Just needed to get that off my chest (now that the stitches are out of my foot). With Ted on the other side of the continent, we may never have another P&C gathering at that wonderful place. Regardless, what great times I've had with the good folks on this board.

Hey Mick! I'd love to get back there next year. I know that anyone can organize a formal get together at a track, but someone has to do it, and yes, it has been me in the past. This summer was not a good fit for me: moving, and also still personally leery of Covid and crowds with varying/unknown degrees of vaccination.
I too miss the time spent with friends there over the years! Next year: let's aim for it Ted

I'll be there. For new members, here's a Saratoga photo of two great horseplayers. The young lady behind Ted is a prospective P&C member.

Mitch, I'm sure you'll recall that she finished third overall in the P&C Beer Drinking Competition but was first in style points.

Yep, definitely had some style. Stood out like a sore thump with that crowd, and with that Mae West on she wasn't about to drown from that tall one.
With so much online betting now a days, we forget that there is no better place to people watch than at the race track. Mitch44 |

Well, it would be tragic if there wasn't some Marker's Mark in Saratoga, Charlie. Siro's always kept a bottle for us Kentucky corn liquor guys. Hopefully, they still do.
