Counter Energy
Well, I've gone and done it. I thought I understood what a "counter energy" horse is, but through further research I've found I actually don't know.
I thought it was when a horse is forecast to run counter to its RS designation. That is, a SP horse who's PMTR screen is indicating it will run Early. Then I got it in my head that it might be a lone horse with a style different to all the others, or the large majority of them. (A lone early or sustained horse.) Worse, I now have become very confused, and realize that neither definition may be correct. Can it be I'm overthinking the whole thing, and it's simply a horse who should run counter to my projected winner's style? As you can plainly tell, I'm confused and I need help. |
