07-25-19 Testing A New Method
I am testing this new method on longshot races that were indicated to me from a publication (non Sartin related) I use on a daily basis. These are very difficult races by most standards.
I would look at the top 2 selections and consider only those horses that are 4 -1 odds or better at the gate, If there are 2 horses , I will bet both (1 unit for win, 2 units for place). If there are none pass the race. Hopefully, there will be at least one. Conley This is a lesson you should learn when you return to school. These are my picks. I post them on PaceandCap and not on PaceAdvantage. I could care less about Cri$ Long$hot’$ Picks. I do my own thing and your posting of his picks here are completely unrelated to what I do, however good you may think they are. However, I would encourage and would welcome members of this board to post their picks here as long as they are their own and not taken from someone else's work. Please see below, the results of a race I posted from today's LRL Last edited by Bill V.; 07-25-2019 at 09:30 PM. Reason: Edited by Bill V.as moderator |

Way to go Parts, I totally agree with you.
If you are going to post Picks. Post your own or refrain from posting. Nice call today at Lrl. I played at LRL today and hit three DDs and one Tri. Keep posting your longshot plays. I enjoy following along. Rmath |

Thanks
Thanks, Parts, and Richard
I agree, it has always been the norm to post your selections that are you own. Hopefully, people can trust the poster so they can perhaps ask some why and how follow-ups inquiries Pace and cap is above all else if not exclusively a teaching website/forum Friends helping friends |

Thanks Rich and Bill V.,
I appreciate your support, I am not a horizontal bettor and I focus on longshots for win and place. The track makes more money on horizontal bets as opposed to vertical bets because of the normally larger take out they impose on the bettor. In the long run these bets will drain your bankroll. I believe in betting (Percieved) value. My recent posts have also focused on my top 2 horses when they fall into my bettable percieved value category. They also indicated how and when I would bet them and how much I would bet. I have been profitable for the past 4 days using my current method. When someone posts the winner of a race that was a third choice out of four selections, it indicates to me that they have a lack of understanding and has no clue as to what is necessary to be a winner at this game.
