I've been with Sartin since early 90's and I've never heard of that one

Something tells me this was something that was offered by David Powers in his RPM handicapping catalog back in the 90's. The name rings familiar but I can't absolutely place it.

I think i had this program many moons ago and i believe it was a program by Tom Hambleton.Tom was one of the best pace handicappers of the Sartin group.

I believe Win Formula was developed by Tom Hambleton and Dick Schmidt
and was originally a proprietary program with manual input. I still have it but it's a tricky little bugger when it comes to data entry. I've tried most of these mechanical pieces of software and have found that there is not a one that has enough finesse to see the hidden variables that I believe is necessary to uncover the individual puzzle of a horse racing contest. Software will never replace the G_D given gift of your brain and acquired knowledge that one may have accumulated through the course of years. Experience is the best teacher. There is no quick fix or magic bullet. |

Well I seem to remember reading in my "Follow Up" manuals where Doc would tell us that using our brains (correctly) would out perform any computer program...I see some races where my program picks the race right on and others remain a mystery...that's why it is important for us to keep WRITTEN RECORDS on why we make certain choices. As for this years derby my rdss program has given me these 6 horses Dullahan Alpha Bodemeister Gemologist Union Rags Daddy Nose Best...the last 2 eliminations were Hansen and Creative Cause...when I finish the card if I decide to get into the pic 3, 4 or5
I will probably have all 8 of those derby horses on my tickets...I won't finish until saturday morning...GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
