Hello Mike:

Very nice hit on having that 49-1 horse to place. Sweet... I would take that type of horse any time that I am fortunate enough to land on one of them.

Your recent post had me laughing over here.

Have a Great Day today Mike.

Vinnie

Good skill Mike.. I don't know how you do it? Without a lot of pre race prepping (time allowed before hand), I simply cannot play several tracks at once. I have always envied those folks that could.

Keep tearing it up with those nice paying mutuels.

Also Vinnie I look at the others and maybe something hits my eye..

like at Med race 7...the 5 horse has won 3 out of 6 races there..taking a shot at 20-1

Mike:

I like your line of reasoning. All good ideas on how to look for value when playing multiple tracks. 3 out of 6 and 20 or 21-1. Man, I hope that horse springs a nice one for you today.

Thanks Mike....

Mike:

Thanks for the printout on that Apprentice. You are absolutely right, you see examples of this all the time. As a matter of fact, at PRM (Prairie Meadows) this past year I was watching a low level claiming race at 6 or 7 furlongs and the Jockey (I can't remember who it was) performed quite admirably. The pace was too hotly contested on the front end as he was involved with two other horses each neck and neck on the front through the first fraction. The jockey got the horse to relax and pull back without having to fight against the horse (of course, the horse just so happened to comply on this day) and it allowed for the other two horses to absorb the pressure from the front end almost entirely while allowing for this horse to respond with an almost slingshot like move to victory in what I believe became a track record at the time.

Have a Great Day Mike.
