Santa Anita
In this race I labeled the 6 as early and the 3 as E/P. I don't feel wither is fast/sharp enough right now to take this field all the way.I used the POR from #2's last race (21.2 44.0) as it was close to the pace and no horse was on the lead in a sprint last time. Today's pace should be slower but I will match OTE against that pace.
The 2 and 7 are my best contenders against that pace. The 2 only has that one fast line and it was beaten easily by the 7 in the tandem on Feb. 8th. My choice to win is the 7. |
