I say maybe
The 11 is # 1 in the EXR and UXR
I will not change the variegate I stays E/p I will look at the EXDC match up screen If i thought the 11 could not go wire to wire I would change the variegate It would become SUS and I would look at the late exdc and horse with even reaots in EXR and UXR I am alive to all 5 contenders in the pick 4 11, 10, 5, 12,4 |

2 adjust
Doc and Jim Bradshaw wanted people to use the 2 adjust properly
If you just hit 2 it would adjust every horse to the same total energy ( approximately ) From what you showed me, Your version of Energy must be a update If you just push 2 for the Alternate adjust, nothing happens, Doc and Jim wanted to offer a way to 2 adjust only the horse or horses that you feel need it . To do this push option 3 Manual Adjust Pushing 2 does nothing Push option 3 Each horse will be shown with the adjustment Energy suggest If you hit Enter it accepts it If you push E you can make your own adjustment For this horse Energy suggest a 2.66 adjust but I only want to do a 1,00 adjust so I hit E, Then typed 1.00 then hit Enter |

Energy
Hey Jeff
sorry i am real busy today To answer your questions Yes I run everything through RDSS I set my fulcrum, then I get my contenders and pacelines I then handicap, eliminate From the phase 1 tab on RDSS Once I have my top phase 1 horses I then make the RAC file and then send the file to any of the classics Using Energy. If I have more than 5 horses I eliminate the worst rated UXR or a horse with no 1 or 2 ratings on the line score Once I have it down to 5 horses I not the paragon A and B horses , The Energizer, The MUV 0.0 horse and most importantly the variegate if the 0.00 MUV horse can not go wire to wire I use the change the variegate option If the Variegate is Early or EP I go with Paragon A and The Early EXDC match UP bars If the Variegate is O.T.E I use Paragon B and the Late EXDC bars I also look for the horses with even readouts between EXR and UXR something like this, EXR 0.235 Uxr 0 .235 This happens often and these horses usually are ITM Lastly I hardly ever use the 3 manual adjust I almost always just use the 1 adjust Sometimes I do use the manual adjust if a horse has a crazy DTV But often I use a paceline from a "normal" DTV. I can tell when a race paceline is wacky because I can see its Phase 1 numbers are aberrant for the horse . This is a beauty of phase 1 , Its simplicity makes odd races stand out easily Good Skill to you with Energy Bill |

Do all your work before you turn on the computer
Before i get into readouts
I would suggest you do Hats 5 steps for the match up Who are the Early horses ? What do you project the pace of race to be ? I use the fulcrum method What POR do the early horses do well at If you enter a early horse from a slow POR line, the Energy readouts will not help you, You probably will get the 2 adjustment alarm and if you 2 or 3 manual adjust you are not going to get a true measure of the horses ability to go wire to wire Do your + (+) and 0's Once you have your true contenders There are a few good readouts in Energy Look at Hid energy and on the Varius, Check the Emuv an Smuv look for the 0.00 horses and the gaps within these readouts. |
