TAM 4th Today

If anybody worked the 4th at TAM today using RDSS, I would love to look at some readouts for this race. I bet it (did not use RDSS), thought I had a handle on the race, and was not even close. Thanks in advance for your time.

I'm sure you would have gotten it. Deprecate the #6 for win if you want to get fancy, or bet the top 2 for win and exacta.

Hi Jim,

My readouts on the VDC screen were 6-5-4-2. Came in 5-6-4-2 nice 10 cent super boxing all 3 paid 128.00 worth a bet for 2.20.

Race 6 VDC readouts at Tampa 3-4-2-6-1. comes in 4-6-3-1. box top 5 in 10cent super and get back 347.62!!!!.

Interesting note on this race is that the 4 was improving big time. His last 3 TPP Numbers were improving and his last 3 %med numbers were improving.

I so appreciate the response guys. I am trying hard to work through a slump. After the race, I thought the 5 should have been stronger and was interested in how he stacked up using some of the Sartin tools. Again, thanks so much for taking the time.

Question for you ted? On your paceline selection in race 4. Why did you not go back furthur for the 3 horse to get his route lines, when in fact for the 5 horse you went back 5 lines? The 3 and 5 last 3 races were sprints.

Bob, by #5 horse, I'm sure you mean the #6 horse I Love to Say Yes.

My reasoning on the #3 for using a recent sprint line (line 2)over an older route line (e.g. line 7) is that I tried both (top 2 TE and Perceptor) and each resulted in the same BL/BL rank position (rank 5), so I left it at the last one I tried, and a more recent one. Could have used either, but you're right, displaying the recent sprint looked confusing.

My reasoning on going back for the #6 horse was that it looked sort of fit, returning after 7 days and closed in its last race, and using any of the recent sprints was not going to do it any favours on BL/BL (too low TE). I wanted to rate it off a route so as to minimize the distance adjustments and fun-with-numbers potential.
