Hi Tim, I'll be travelling just prior to Sept 25, but with a tailwind I might make it to Toronto by Sept 25 and would be happy to spend an afternoon at Woodbine with you!

I'll let others organize a meetup that weekend, and let you know if I can make it. Enjoy your walkabout - sounds like a good time to get out of Arizona and Autumn is wonderful up here.

Ted

Pook - count me in! Also please add another $100 to the Contest prize fund from the RDSS kitty!

Things will be hit and miss for me due to travels over the next few months, but at the same time, a good test whether I can do this competently from the road and from a foreign country (well, just the good old USA this Autumn). Bill V is my role model (i.e. travelling gambler )

Just to confirm, the following are all acceptable wagers (in separate races), yes?

$2 Win #1 = $2
$2 Place #2 = $2
$2 Win+Place #1 = $4
$2 Win #1 and $2 Win+Place #2 = $6
$2 Place #1 and #2 = $4
$2 Win+Place #1 and #2 = $8

Thanks - see you at Woodbine next month!?

Ted

Hi Tim, nice to see you back. Whenever you are at Woodbine I will climb down out of the trees and come south to meet you and any other locals who might be there. Like cigar says firm up your details closer to the date. Thanks for offering to post. Hopefully some others will help out also.

Hey Ted, love the RDSS kitty! Thanks very much....the pot grows. I think we have seven players now. Probably in the range of what there is going to be. Matching is difficult enough without doing it, live, in public, in a contest format with some money on the line. Not for the faint of heart. And you will be doing it travelling like Bill V ....awesome.

All those wagers are legit. Opens it up a bit and makes things less black and white. A good thing I think.

As stated in my reply to Tim I will be at Woodbine whenever he shows up. So if you're there I will see you. Til then may you profit obscenely at the races.

Good Skill

Thanks Pook the new contest ideas look awesome,
As we talked about I still am under my doctors orders to limit my stress
so I will not be able to join in this time

Thank you Ted I am gambling very sparingly, I am staying out on the road
more and betting a lot less until I can get back to good health

I am so happy with all the interesting topics and post going on at my
favorite place on the web Pace and Cap

The pot is $550 so even a third place will yield a profit of $60.

Only two have volunteered to post besides myself. That makes a kind of heavy workload (7 races each) and an unfair advantage for the posters. Ideally every participant should be on the posting rotation. Except Ted! That is what an extra $100 in the pot does.

So I'd like to hear from a few more of you participants that I can add you to the rotation. Either that or put up another $100 to the pot, or have a doctors note excusing your posting absence. Just kidding again...... Seriously if you can, please help out. Its fun also. I might be able to get a guest poster or two but we will see.

Here are the very simple posting rules:
