In its last 2 races the 2 took the lead in slow fractions, but when the pace was quicker (L6) it pressed, so I am playing that it will press tonite. Even if the 2 leads, it compromises the 1 who does not need much prompting to fold. the 1 and 8 are earlier types, but slow.

The 9 could not keep up with the 7 in the last. Win bets on the 7 and 10, place with the 2 and in the exacta at that price!

I would go with the 10,1,7

10's last race was a definite workout and coming back quick, also 3rd back ran against fastest final time
at this distance and finished competitively . The only thing here that bothers me is the 10 hole as the turn
comes up quick.

Sorry not using the match up but thought I would chime in anyway

Jeff

I see the 1, 2, 7 up front with no dominant. 2 & 7 got a little fight in them but looking OTE. Use the fractions Bill lit up for a projected pace.

Like the big tandem 22 days ago with the 9 winning against a faster pace.

The 8 came close but moved too late in a 16th longer race. But, pace will be slower so may be up closer earlier today.

Both 8 & 9 appear to have overcome some outside posts but not the 10. However, the 10 pressed the pace last out and line 3 is fast.

Bets would be 9 to win with other win bet best price between 8 & 10.

I keyed on the 7f tandem with the 1,3,8, and 9. They ran 23.5 in the first quarter which may make it more difficult for this speed filled field. 3 and 8 didn't like the pace. It's between the 9 and 1. I'll take the 9 to win.

I'll be watching.

Just a note for those concerned with the Post Position of the 10. With the scratches he is only relegated to the seventh hole. Maybe not so bad.
