Delaware Race 10

This race is kind of paceless and would normally pass it but will try another tool in the Matchup arsenal. Using Powerlines I eliminated 2,3,4. Also the 2 was well beaten by the 1 and 5 in the June 13 tandem. The same tandem that Raceman is using as projected pace.

The 6 does have a good Powerline way back but recently seems not competitive at faster paces. So I eliminate the 6.

I used 24.1 from the 5 at six races back as my projected 1st call. It is the only shown leading first call time. The 1 and 5 should inherit a lead. Probably a slow lead because nobody wants it? Mike gives the 1 and 5 early status I guess not because they are earlies but because circumstances dictate it.

With a relatively slow pace shouldn't the front horses be able to stay there? These paceless races are less predictable.

So at this point I am left with 1,5 and 7. Based on what I stated above I got to be on the 1 and 5. The 7 will probably be too far back. I got here with a little different route than Raceman but the same horses. Some others have one or two of the same also.

The 6 and 7 do have killer Powermoves but based on my Matchup anyway I shall bet against.

1,5

Everyone with the 5 nice job!

Not sure why people thought it was an pace-less race, I thought it was an easy call that the 1 was going to the lead??

Liked the 5 but thought she would be the favorite? 7 bucks for that horse was a nice ticket.

Good Job, Gents

As in the horse had not had the lead in any of the 20 races she'd been in but she was going to get it today!

You were right. Nice call.

WO #6:

I'm looking for a way to beat the 1. I project the pace to be the 1's race 2 back on the same surface; 23.16 46.23 1:10.91 carrying it to the stretch call. Here are the rest:

2: Slow. Bad last race. When facing fast paces at SA, she was beaten badly. OUT.
3: Looks slow. OUT.
4: Solved gate problem in last 2. Pace was still slow. OUT.
5: FPLR. Can run to second position against slower pace. Contender.
6: Last 2 bad. Too far back. OUT.

Now the 1 was a fighter at the first call in the projected pace race. This gets me down to the favorite and second favorite. I suspect the 1 will win.

I'll pass.

Woodbine Race 6

Projected 23 quarter by the 1. The 1 is a lone early. The only horse who may catch him is the 5 with the FPLR. They are the favourites in the race with the ML at 1.6 on the 1. That probably means below 1 to 1 at post time. I think the 1 will prevail unless scratches change things. Today I can't hang around to see.

Pass

Talk about frustration-- the Delaware race ran just as expected and I still got it wrong. Oh well.

Woodbine race 6

We have a lone speed horse-- the #1. The only other horse who has run well against the expected pace is the #5.

Win: #1 Pohdi Pohdi
#5 Roaming

Wo r6

Pace:23.1 - 46.2
ote
win: 5 - 6

1 and 2 in pace battle, 1 is faster however he will expend too much energy early. The 5 will have first jump, if a fast pace duel develope the 6 will be closing fast - bomb away.

wood

1-6. all or nothing for the 1. Maybe the 6 picks up the pieces if the race collapses.

Woodbine Race #6
Short field

The number #1 horse has raced intermittently on turf and synthetics. Its last race was on turf so one has to be careful looking at the track designations on the past performances in small symbols.

The #5 horse comes off the best last race early pace fractions and won't have to run so fast early so it should have a better last fraction today should they should the early pace slower than 23:0 for the first fraction.

My choice is the the #5 horse Roaming to win this match-up over the #1 Pohd Pohd.

Good skills
