Anyway, the short answer is - the Adjusted SR is for an extracted 6f sprint - not the original route. The #7 had the better extracted 6f portion of that Tandem. Compare the 2 horses from the Adjusted Screen and it will make sense. Ted

adjusted to 6.0
Hi Mike
I don't know why . The adjustments on RDSS2 using val 4 mode default setting show the speed ratings of 71 and 73 Maybe its more like one is rounded up from a 72.6 and the other is rounded down from a 71.4 the total energy POR and POH are very close anyway The adjustments seem consistent with what the methodology has been doing all along I entered horse 7 and 8's raw lines into EXDC with thoromation Then when asked I said yes to auto adjust Here are the readouts how EXDC adjusted the lines The energy generator and Thoromation All agree that 7's line rates better than 8 Bill *** *** |

Bill..
I am very impress with your use of the Sartin Methodology and using Rdss to import lines into old Sartin programs. You had some great teachers and you did well young Jedi..... Regardless of the speed ratings, the early pace horse exerted more energy in the race and 9/10 times , I would favor the higher energy horse, especially in a Sprint depending on the matchup.. Question for Bill.... After you export the lines from Rdss into Exdc with thoromation, do you make any adjustments for the lines inputted. I am assuming you entered the adjusted lines from Rdss and not the raw lines as seen in the pps. Thanks in advance.. Last edited by lone speed; 07-11-2012 at 01:32 PM. |

Lone Speed
Thank You
RDSS only exports into 3 call format Sartin programs The screens I showed in the above post were from my EXDC/Thoromation program Its a 4 call format program so I hand entered the RAW 8.0 pacelines then I auto adjusted them to the 6.0 distance Today I will use the same procedure, This time I will hand enter the 8.0 RAW pacelines into VALM which is a hand entry version of Validator 1 Valm will normalize equalize and adjust the lines to today distance of 6.0 First as Ted mentioned above I going to show the RDSS adjusted lines for horse 7 and 8 ** ** Then I will show the VALM adjusted lines ** Then the Valm Energy and FPS numbers ** ** Then I will show the VALIDATOR readout 7 wins all 4 readouts ** |
