Thumbs up

FYI.........it is our intent to try and limit the number of tracks to about 3 if possible. I sent a reminder to our "NEW" schedule master to keep this in mind when making future contests as we are aware not everyone uses the Free Brisnet PP's.

Congratulations to Team Sartin for the tremendous leap into third place this week. Way to go.
Unfortunately we hit a bump and landed almost at the bottom this week. Oh well, more to come. I think all six of our teams are giving the rest of them a run for their money though.

Rebel week

Concrats to all the RDSS teams this week. I see lots of us up near the top
of the standings, with the RDSS REBELS topping the list.

Team Sartin did good. I have to give a big shout out to Bill Lyster who
had the $64.00 winner and $520 exacta in his top 3 at GP. Ted and I had it as alternate bets but I failed to include it in our final picks.

Hope we all improve more as the weeks go on

GS

Yes Bill we did pretty good for a change. We've changed our strategy and it seems to be paying off. I hope I don't speak too soon.
You guys are ahead of us in the overall standings though. I think all our teams are doing extremely well. I'm glad the RDSS is standing out so all can see.

Bill V is modest - in his own picks for our Team this week, he had the Spiral Stakes at TP $12.40 Winner and $245 Exacta, while as a Team consensus we only managed to catch the $21.80 Place and $10.80 show prices on the Place horse. Such is the difficulty in meshing 3 distinct handicapping styles.

As a Team, we never completely blow, but we never seem catch a big one to finish on top of the heap one week.

As usual, congratulations to the Squatheads for their Occupy PAIHL movement, and a salute to the Dams for an excellent showing this week.

My dream remains for an all RDSS Teams PAIHL Finale

Ted

Patrick,

Thank you very much for your wishes, and my congratulations to the other RDSS teams who have made it this far, especially to the Squatheads. Patrick, you and Ray gave it a good go as the Rebels, as did the Pens crew, but the breaks were just not your way this year.

This team play is a difficult, even specialty form of play, and certainly not the only test of the individuals' abilities. In my team's case, my other 2 teammates have done overall somewhat better than I have, individually, though some weeks one of us fares better than the others. Also, some of the chosen races are not races each of us would choose to bet in, and choice of betting race and pool (or choice not to bet) is probably half of the decision making.

I am reminded that all you need one week is ONE good hit.

Good luck (and good skill responding to the luck opportunities) next weekend to the 4 RDSS teams continuing!

Ted
