Synergism without RDSS
I thought I would start this thread for people using Synergism the old
fashioned way. Straight from Doc's mouth Because of the way Synergism is able to auto adjust the data there is no reason for any small adjustments to be made. Therefore giving the user more time to pick thier own pacelines. |

Shoe raw
hello Jeff
here is race 8 from Pen tonight I did the race completely raw and entered my lines and set up times by hand Here is the first screen I said yes to shippers because of the different surfaces and distances of the pacelines I used To keep it simple I used basic phase 1 to pick my lines and get down to 5 contenders I sorted the race by FW My set up times are from the 3 horses with 8.0 pacelines The 3 year best is 136.3 BTW the fulcrum is 113.3 140.1 and is also one of the setup times here is race 8 raw |

Raw
In the 8th race at Penn doing the race as well as I can as per the manual
and using raw data, Proved to be the way to go The raw number using 3 set up times and the 3 year best has the win place and show 1 7 8 right on top The adjusted did not do well at all Jeff may be on to something This really was not that hard to do If Ted could make it so that the shipper and set up times could be entered by hand first, then the raw pacelines I think Jeff is correct that the program should make the adjustments not RDSS BTW here is the RDSS BLBL using the same lines Bill Last edited by Bill V.; 08-24-2012 at 09:43 PM. |

Bill,
Way to go by looking at your dream race the 1 owned the 1st and 3rd fractions so pretty much looked like a lock. I really havent played anything the last 3 weeks as the cards have looked really bad.The next time I see an interesting race I will post it. I dont know if you have done it or not but listen to those Synergism tapes as Doc gives a great presentation on the dream race. |

Ratings and wgts are given to the horse's factors and the totals are then converted to probabilities and then again into odds. The odds are then compared to post time odds for a final decision on how to bet the race Last edited by gl45; 08-02-2017 at 08:40 AM. |

That's an interesting approach, Pino.
Here's what I came up with doing the race manually. http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_vi...ate=2012-09-28 I used #5 Lagoon's second race back for the pace variant of 45 3/5 I used #4 Bill Senior's race of July 27th for the final time variant of 112 For the track record I used the actual track record of 107 4/5 *Note- the only adjustment I made was -0.16 for #6 A Brew In Th Woods paceline at TDN. Normally I don't make track class adjustments for three year olds, but seeing at this was a maiden win from a cheaper track I did in this instance. One could easily argue that's not the correct paceline to use. A little birdie told me to use that line. I can't explain it further. #6 A Brew In Th Woods is almost a win bet. The "3" rating in DR would have made me sit this one out. |

Thanks Pino and David
Here is the race using Phase 1 for contenders
and sending the adjusted lines from RDSS Not exactly 1 click but pretty easy step 1 = TPR last line every horse step 2 = Pick lines for top 5 TPR horses step 3 = Send adjusted lines to syn2 bet the top 2 FW tie break with DR |
